RedHat Ansible for BFSI Market

ONQU has recently completed the installation and configuration of a Red Hat Satellite environment to allow a leading Blue Chip Insurance Company to automate their rollout of patch updates and configuration to their Linux servers and platform. Once the initial phase was completed in test and then connected to Ansible tower to allow automated scripts to allow deployment and standardisation of the roll out processes.

ONQU provided a multi-skilled team including  experienced system administrators, network engineers and DevOps experts to make sure the project was delivered on time and with minimal disruption. Our team worked closely with the customer at every stage of the process, from initial design of the architecture through to installation, configuration and ongoing maintenance.

By utilizing our wide range of skill sets, ONQU ensured that all areas were covered in order to achieve a successful outcome. We also provided training for their in-house IT team so they could confidently manage and maintain the new system going forward.

Now that the project is complete, the customer now has access to an automated patching system which can be easily managed by its own IT staff while still providing security updates keeping systems secure and up-to-date.

Red Hat Satellite is a popular and powerful systems management platform that helps organizations manage their entire IT infrastructure from a single interface. It streamlines the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems and other Red Hat-based operating systems, while also providing visibility into system health and performance.

One of the key features of Red Hat Satellite is its ability to automate system provisioning. This means that new systems can be automatically configured and deployed with the appropriate software, patches, and configurations based on predefined specifications. This greatly reduces the manual effort and potential for error in managing large numbers of systems.

In addition to automation, Red Hat Satellite also offers centralised patch management, allowing administrators to quickly and easily apply patches across all managed systems. This helps ensure that all systems are up-to-date and secure, reducing potential vulnerabilities and downtime.

Overall, Red Hat Satellite is a comprehensive and powerful tool for managing complex IT infrastructures. It simplifies the management process, improves system reliability and security, and provides valuable insights into system performance.
