Oracle Business Process Management and Application Developer Framework
The company is one of the world’s leading providers of pay-by-the-hour Aircraft Flights for high-net-worth individuals. Any systems downtime time can have a significant effect on the customer’s experience and profitability. ONQU was invited to deliver an upgrade for an Oracle BPM platform developed in Oracle ADF.
The project was initially designed to plan and map out an upgrade path for non-production Dev / QA / UAT and Production. However, it was shown that the performance of the system degraded over time, and as a result, ONQU conducted a review to identify 10 quick wins that could be applied to improve the system’s operation.
The performance of the system was significantly improved and latency reduced enabling the users t deliver faster turnaround times.
ONQU built the Development environment from scratch and provided that the platform could be upgraded in a matter of weeks and this would improve security and the operation of the system.
However, it was also shown that the code base was in need of performance tuning and improvement and ONQU provided expertise and deep dive help to improve the system operation effectively.
